Need advice on this type of TIG welder.

I found this on ebay and i know its no miller, but for the am ount of money it costs if it works it works.

i have had some experience with a miller syncrowave at school but im in no position to spend that much cahs right now. i just want something for the garage sp i can fab up my own IC pipes DP pipes and other miscelaneous projects like my modified Starion IC.

The major drawback of a DC TIG is that you cannot weld aluminum. IMO, it's no better than a MIG, and MIGs can weld aluminum if you have a spool gun, argon and patience.

This is a completely incorrect statement. The fact that it is an inverter does not mean it cannot weld aluminum. In fact, inverters can actually weld aluminum better than traditional transformer style machines.
The problem with that welder (other than the fact that its likely a POS) for aluminum is that it is DC only. You need a TIG which can do AC.
