No, there were two different models, the 2.5 TL which is the 5 cylinder, and there is the 3.2 TL with the v6. Plus the vigor.

stop being nit-picky. i didnt say there was was one TL with an optional engine.
the 3.2 was an optional engine, since the rest of the car was the same, just the engine and transmission differed. but since it was a longitudinal I5, they could have used the same transmission too. but i am not sure.

Actually they were garbage. Honda took it in the *** on warranties with that engine. The design was scrapped and it never made it in to another production car.

lol even if it was an f series engine you would never ever fit it in your civic without major mods unlike most honda fwd cars this engine doesnt sit in there transverse, rather it sits in there like the 2nd gen legends and first gen rls engines sit in the bay
