Default clutch question for s1 tranny...

hey, i bought a YS1 (integra ls) tranny from a guy and he included the clutch kit with it. Now...i knew i bought the wrong tranny(for my b16 set up) so i sold the tranny and bought a s1 tranny. Will the clutch that is for the ys1 tranny work with the s1 tranny? It's a Perfection Clutch kit.

Default Re: clutch question for s1 tranny... (ImportsCRX)

The YS1 is usually from the 92-93 integra(big spline). The S1 is either from the 89-91 integra xsi(jdm short geared trans...small spline) or the 90-91 integra ls(usdm long geared...small spline). My guess is the clutch disc will be too large and not fit right on the S1. Get a disc for the 90-91 integra and use the rest of the parts from the clutch you have and you should be good to go.

Easy....YS1 big spline tranny, same for all 92+ all b series, thats what you need.

The 90-91 tranny use small spline and are good for those years only, not the newer ys1.
