Default forget the swap... just start over...

Well guys, for everyone that has helped me gather info on swapping a H22a1 into my '93 Lude S I want to say thanks, but I don't think it's gonna happen anymore. I'll be selling the car to my sister for her first car and I'll be upgrading. I found a 1995 Prelude VTEC w/ 60k for $10,500. So by next week I should be driving a real Prelude instead. So I guess I might be coming back here to ask some new questions about upgrades for my newly found toy.

For about 3500, you can get a nice Civic CX. Dump in a JDM Type S motor in that thing for about 5 Gs more. For the remaining 2 grand, you can put some additional stuff that will smoke that Prelude, modded or otherwise....oh I'd say about...15-20 cars.

Yeah, but it would still look like a civic.

Well said. Speed (& looks too..wanna check out mine?) go for the CX/Type S combo. Looks (check out that big ***) and uhh...just looks, go for the Prelude.

Congrats on the new car!

It amazes me that more people don't just do exactly what you are doing instead of dealing with all the costs and problems with swapping motors...
