hello everyone, basic question that i dont know the answer.

when im on a stop light, my car seems like its going to die..like there is no electic power going thru the car..is that my alternator? i just replaced my battery and starter a couple of months ago.

also, this happen to me twice, my fuel tank almost empty and then when i put gas, and i try to start the car...the car wont start. it makes a clicky-clicky noise...then i stop i look at the dashboard, and even though i dont have my emergency brake on, the light shows i do...does that have something to do with it? i wait for a minute or two and try to start the car...and then it will start. from that time on...i wont have any problems starting the car.

 

To vague bro. Grab a manual and do some testing. Once you have a better idea get back to us

What year would help. It doesnt sound like an alternator problem.

Did this happen before replacing the starter?

 

Might be ur ignition. I had that experience before.

 

When your at a light when it wants to die does it stutter??? Did you check if your E-brake is all the way down?? For the Hard Start occasionally it could be your main relay id check that out. Anyway you need to be a lil more specific.
