Major problems with the crx.
okay about 4 months ago i bought a 1990 honda CRX Dx for $500.00. The throwout bearing shattered and messed up the tranny and clutch. i have since then replaced the clutch, replaced the tranny, and did a dpfi to mpfi swap. now i know that my wiring is 100% correct, ive gone through it over, and over. and im still thowing a code 4 (crank angle Sensor). Even with that code...the car does not start....from what ive been told..even though it was throwing the code 4 i should still start. So this is what im proposing. i have a full Dx wiring harness... should i just take the thing back to dpfi? because for the past 2.5 months i havent been able to figure out what the problem is with this car.. does anyone have suggestions? where should i start? any/all input is welcome thanks for reading!
Well, since you know your wiring is correct, have you considered troubleshooting for what causes a crank angle sensor code?
You obviously had to get a Si distributor when you did the MPFI swap...a dead distributor can cause a crank angle sensor code, right?
