What cams will make the most power and is safe to run on only portflow inner springs?
motor: b16a with ctr pistons
head: stock b16 head. i have a set of portflow inner springs with duel itr outter and stock b16 retainers
i want to get something with stock idle and reliable. thinking of:
jun3
skunk2stg2
m22
bc3 or 4
i need some help. i ran some seach and found bc3 will be fine with this set-up tho i also found m22 out performs that.
SO, I NEED SOME MORE OPTIONS AND EXPERT ADVICE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS CAPIBLE WITH THIS SETUP. PLEASE HELP, LAST STEP FOR MY BUILD, GOING TO TUNE SOON AND DONT WANT TO WASTE MONEY ON A SET OF CAMS THAT ctrs can be equal to because that what i have. i want something agressive(13low-12high 1/4miles)

im just saying......but a stage 3 skunk probably would end up not being that great for ur set up,....but i would use the portflow retainers
i need to know if a stock b16 head can headle it with just portflow intake springs. meaning, stock valves and retainers.
o yea, i have a 89 head. i heard something about something on the head that cant handle big cams, is that true?

there are two types of portflow springs, check with Tom to see which you have. I've had his race springs and they can handle Spec D Toda (one of the biggest cams out there) to alomost 11K rpms ... but he also uses ITR springs for some mild heads, so unless you tell him which cams you'll use he'll accomodate with the springs.

i used stock retainers on blox hsl/tuner b and crower stg.3.so far no problems.u can get supertech retainers for insurance.
