Default Clutchless shifting?

Hey guys im here to ask if anyone knows if the prelude can shift w/o using the clutch... i know it can be done and ive seen my friend in his 350 do it all the time...so i tried it once in my car but had major grindage... i can take it out of gear w/o clutch but not put ti bak into another one...all he did was take it out blip gas and do it....ive also heard only certain cars can do it...can anyone confirm or am i just not doing it right....

acquired skill, but it's not really that useful. when you get really good at it, it helps you left foot brake and downshift simultaneously, but i'd rather heel toe anyway.

i learned how to do it when my clutch was fubar, but now i only do it because i get lazy sometimes, and generally only for 3rd 4th upshifts. stock flywheel makes downshifting slower than using the clutch, even with a good blip.

Exactly. Unless your clutch is completely fucked, as bad-monkey's was, it's pointless. The clutch is there for a reason.

Exactly.

Now I heel toe (well left-half of my foot brakes while the right hits the gas) to rev mathc when I downshift but I do that to save my clutch. GREAT feeling when you hit those exact revs.
