Let me start by saying this is a nice site so far. hope there are some honda techs here Just got my car back from a mech, and he put in a ignition module? about a week later my RPM gauge starts acting like it has a short in it. So I take my car back to this guy and he says its the gauge, the same day (today) "5 hours later" my car breaks down on the road. It <U>will</U> start & run. But when i press the accel it dies. Takes for ever to start back up but dies again. Timing belt? This guy also put in a ignition switch before I got this car - so he's worked on the electrical before. If I can fix this with out having to take it to anyone eles, would be great. I don't know much about cars but I know how to change oil,plugs, what a CV joint is..ect. But making a car actually run doesnt work for me. Thanks.
