how to stop the BUMP!
ok, i got a 95 ex....its lowered slightly. i just put some 17's on it, with a gap where i can barely get 2 fingers between the tire and the fender. im running 205/40/17. now my problem is... its got agx struts, aerospeed coilovers. its always been a little bumpy, even set on a soft setting, but after i put on the rims, its like when i hit a bump, its a tight bump noise, but almost sounds like a rub. but its not rubbing, because theres nothing wrong with the tires or anything....anyone know where this noise is coming from?
you are actually rubbing. every time you rub its not always going to damage the tire or may never damage the tire. its not the tires so dont worry about the that, to avoid the problem, why dont you raise the car up alittle.
what tires did you have on there before?
you now have a 3.2" sidewall as compared to say a 205/50-15 with a 4" sidewall. So you're going to feel the bumps more.
Or you could be rubbing ....
