need help with lcon traction bars. loud clunk when braking and accelerating.
I've got a problem. I have installed a lcon traction bar for the 88-91 civic. I have run into a problem with a loud clunk sound from the front every time I brake medium or hard, and when I take off. I have the radious rods adjusted(shortest length) down as tight as I can get them. woundering if that could be the problem. how should they be adjusted for daily street driving? please help
Check your 3 mounting bolts on each framerail and make sure they are tight, then drive your car to an alignment shop and have it properly adjusted

would a caster problem cause the clunk sound? what other side effects? also do I adjust the radious rods at the front or the back near the lca. Last question, do the u shape brackets that go on the shock fork go vertical(u shape ends on top and bottom) or horizontol (u shape ends on left and right)? thanks
