Hey I picked up a hydro GSR tranny unkown year. Everyone has always told be as long as its a hydro tranny year to year its the same parts. I just purchased 2-4 complete gears for a ('96) GSR tranny, both main shaft and counter shaft from acura, as well as 1-5 carbon coated synchros ( Gear-speed ) . My PROBLEM is the 3&4 gear sleeve set on the main shaft is too big for the fork. Is there a difference in hydro GSR tranny parts from year to year?

 

uh oh...you got a ls tranny if the fork won't wrap around the 3/4 sleeve. b16, gsr, itr aka vtec transmissions have the same size 3/4 being bigger than non vtec. 1/2 and 5/R are interchangeable between them whether vtec or nonvtec tranny.

i think i have a 3/4 fork if you end up needing one.
