ive finally figured out that my greddy evo which is now 3 yrs old is completely worthless(sound wise). i saw a thread on here where someones evo or sp spilled all of its innards which im assuming is the sound deadening material. mine hasnt spilled its guts but when i kick it i can hear **** shaking around in the muffler. not to mention the car is loud as **** compared to when i first put it on. To remedy the db situation now i am using the 115 mm silencer from and apexi n1 and the tone is very shitty around town when anything partial throttle, but quiet when just cruising about. It has a good deep tone on the highway and thats the only time it sounds decent. I know that part of the problem is my higher than stock comp. and p&p job but i need low key...minimal noise. Im older now and the whole loud and attention grabber exhaust is quite played out....what should i get as a replacement, the apexi ws2 or the tanabe medallion hyper spec.(my current setup must be atleast 110-120db guessing)
