Default my car stalled today!!!!

i drove my car around alittle bit today and stoped to take some pics of it and when i went to leave it started then just stalled out. well i just turned the key off then tried again and it ran perfect. well later i went to walmart and when i came out it would start die start die and start die so i turned the key off and started it back up anbd it started and ran. what do u guys think it might be a 89 crx si with the stock a6, it has 227,000 miles on it. It has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. i was kinda leanin towards the fuel pump, anyone else? any help would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance

It could be the fuel pump. But I would really look at the distributor. That is a common symptom of distributor on its last life. Have you gotten a check engine light? Sometimes they show crank angle sensor or something similar to that.

easy way to find out if your fuel pump is out is right before you turn the key into the "ON" position you can hear a hissing noise. If you don't hear it then your pump is bad

When my main relay was going out the car would start normally but if you turn it off after driving it wouldn't start right away. But if I tapped the relay then I would here the pump start.

Try tapping the main relay. It's on the driverside right underneath the dash by the hood pop up switch. I think they are like $60 dealer. not sure cause I work at one and get employee discount.
