What size tires is everyone with a hatch running?
I have a 93 hatch and what size tires can i run on the car with Skunk2 coilovers? repodevil@aol.com
i want a 17" tire on the car what is the widest width and the thinest sidewall i can go with without trouble?
205/40/17 is the only 17" size I know that fits civics. And if your lowered, you may still have to roll the fenders (if you like your car low). A hair drier or heat gun goes a long way to preserve your paint during that process...
You also want to watch your ofset on the wheel. Make sure its 40+
I work at a tire shop that specializes in high performance tires. 205/40/17 would be your best choice if you want to run 17's. Do not go to 35's unless where you live the roads are as smoth as glass. My favorite size for looks and performance on an eg is 16's. I personally run 205-50-15 on Heliums to keep the weight down. Hope this helps
