I recently went with my friend to my local Acura dealership because he was thinking of getting a RSX. He tried knocking off some numbers off the sticker price but the salesman said.."I'm sorry but were discontinuing the RSX's...the 05's are the last ones we are going to sell so we have to stick with the sticker price...."
is this true? I know that other threads have been made about this topic but they either concluded with NO the RSX will not be discontinued and the 06 might come with a LSD and 5 more HP...AND YES sales aren't doing to good in the U.S. so Acura is deciding to discontinue. I'm getting really confused are you guys??? Well I'm just wondering if thats true or if that salesman was just being really tough. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.</TD></TR></TABLE>car salesman usually don't know **** about the cars. Trust me, a lot of salesman don't know what vtec stands for and at what rpms it kick in.

the 06 RSX will be here. Wait until the 06 is released to buy the 05 or shop around. You can find it for invoice. I got mine 4 months ago for invoice, and if your salesman is trying to sell it to you for msrp, you're getting **** raped.

After 06, whether or not the RSX will be here is a mystery. But Honda will not discontinue the model a year after they redesigned it.

 

they keep saying that they are going to stop production of the rsx (the TL also) to make room for the civic, but that would be dumb in my opinion...bring back the days when we could buy a decent civic and a kickass integra!
