Default fuel cut @ 105??

Hey techies
i need your help, my thread in the accord forum is getting no where
i have a 99 auto accord sedan 4-cyl, when i run it hard the car powers all the way to 105
then it feels like the fuel gets cut, the engine gurgles and the acceleration dies, top gear feels
like its got another 10-20mph in it before it runs out, im suspecting a factory set speed limiter,
anyone know how to get around this, without removing the top rpm limiter?? Would something
like a performance chip solve my problem??
thanx in advancce for any help

what mods do you have in your car?
if its bone-stock dont be surprised this happens.
if you have mods you should try resetting the ECU and hope it changes your fuel c curve

Its stock exept for the intake, looking for a greddy evo, and AEM tru-time fly wheels
or is the money better spent on a vtec cotroller or ecu chip

Get a Field VTEC controller... it has a function to kill a speed cut, along with fuel timing and VTEC actuvation point. It's a nice piece to have if your car has a speed limiter or jdm ecu.
