Well for starters the car has 300,000+ miles on it. Its 16 years old. Stuff breaks and wears down. With that said, dont even bother putting a turbo on it unless you do a motor swap first or a complete rebuild on the original. You will blow it up. Spend your $ wisely and do it right. Turbocharging a motor with 300,000 miles is NOT a good idea. Common sence imo. Clutchmasters, ATC, ect. for a clutch. Do some homework. Syncros are bad in the tranny so again, rebuild it or swap it.
Cmon Now! Dont do anything untill you learn a thing or two about your car. Education is EVERYTHING

well i dont konw the level or condition of the fluid in the tranny. cant i run that royal prurple stuff? also how does a z6 with harness for 500 sound. the guy said hed give me the tranny for 200 more. but then i would need new axles right?
to me, it sounds like your clutch is adjusted way off, dragging all the time. adjust your clutch.
don't get the tranny because the mounts are different and the clutch actuation is different (cable clutch vs. hydraulic clutch).
have him get you the ecu.
don't bother with royal purple or stuff like that. i know people will disagree, let them, but it's just a band-aid fix. in my opinion, it wears out your tranny a lot faster. how most of them work is by putting friction modified stuff in the oil, which coats the synchros and makes them grip, but does it coat the bearings, too?

i just drove my car and notice when i shift slower it doesnt grind? wtf is going on? also the gears feel a lil looser to get into. also my clutch doesnt fully engage till i get off the clutch pedal and every time i adjsut it to get some free play it ends up back the same way after a day or two. by the way i think the car was sitting for quite a while before i baught it, maybe it just needed to be divrn around to loosen things up?
