Who has a Skunk2 IM on a b18 or b20?
I desperately need to know what is upposed to be attached to the last nipple on the front of the Iintake Manifold farthest away from the Throttle body
I don't have mine hooked up, cuz when I do, the engine stalls
I just put in a P8R head and Crower 403s on my b20... and idle is brutal

I have 3 pics, hopefully it helps.
U knows those 2 little cylnders near the firewall, theres should be 2hoses coming out of them from the bottom, the one of the left goes in the back of the IM, and the one on the right goes to the front.

I'll try that
so in that last pic, is the blue hose from the front of the IM going under the IM and to the cyliner on the right?

The blue hose from the front of the IM goes to the cylinder on the right from the bottom. yes
the top hose from the right cylinder goes all the way to the fuel filter, the big black cylinder on the left side of the car.
and the top left cylinder goes to the FPR correct

I just tired that.. and the car stalled
BUT... I don't have the b18 TB, I have one from a b20...so the MAP sensor is connected to the TB
I'm thinking of reattachign my b18 map sensor to see how it goes
------------------
how may vacuum hookups are there on the b18 MAP sensor?
and where do they go?
(if there is only one then it looks like it goes to the top of the TB)
--------------
you are using a b18a TB correct?

I just pulled my b20TB off the Skunk2 IM so I could put the b18 TB back on and I noticed that while both TB's have two holes where they connect to the IM, the Skunk2 IM only has one hole
I know one of them leads to the IACV... the one that my Skunk2 IM still has
but the one it is missing leads to the FITV
-----------------------
I believe the FITV on the b18 is connected to the factory IM, whereas on the b20 TB it is on the TB
could the IM be the source of my shitty idle?

The ITR doesn't have a FITV, and it idles fine.</TD></TR></TABLE>
there are two passageways, built inside the stock IM, and the stock TB has two holes on the inside where these are supposed to connect to
the IACV has one... and the passageway presumably leads to the IACV... a for the other... there is no hole in the IM that connects to the TB

GOOD NEW/bad news
(Knock on wood) the car appears to idle perfectly.. yippee!
Bad news.... I now have a check engine light... so I'll have to have my codes read.. ah well, I'm sure its nothign major

****!
Guess what, I forgot to attach the sensor on the back of the TB
so I did that and THE IDLE SUCKS AGAIN
but the check engine light went off
-----
I didn't have time to fiddle with the idle screw
and the throttle is really slack right now.. I'll have to tighten that up

so I got it to idle properly with a little fiddling of the throttle cable... it idles around 1000, anything lower and the revs will rise and fall
---------------
The problem is that now it seems I am losing fuel pressure
If the car has been sitting for a long time (like over-night) I have to manually use the FPR to up the fuel, start the car, then I have t ogo back and lower the fuel pressure
also, the FPR measures 50 psi when the vacuum hose isn't attached, but as soon as I attach it, it drops to 40. (Is this normal)?
