I know these noise topics tend to be a drag but I have searched and have not seen anything I did not know already. So, here goes...

During last Sunday's autocross I heard a clicking sound from outside the car while my co-driver was negotiating a hard 90 degree left. Several others heard it as well.

Checked the front right wheel bearing by shaking the tire - rock solid. Looked at sway bar mounts and anything else I could thing of and could not see anything. Drove the car on the street, could not hear anything.

So, I went out and did 5 runs. Nothing unusual from inside the car but the co-driver could hear the clicking from outside.

I figure its a bearing, CV joint, or axle starting to go. Anyopinions?

change your axle

Happened to me, cheaper than changing out the ball joint. Costed me 156.
