Default Greddy turbo timer not working correctly?

This is in my 88 crx, I wired...

red - white
blue - yellow
green - yellow/black
black - ground

Well it turns on, I guess...it shows -L- at the very begining...i set it to 1.00 min....but when I shut off the car, the turbo timer doesnt stay on but shuts off with it.

ugh i hate my greddy unit. i've had it wired just like you have it and it worked sometimes didn't work other times. sometimes would work then kick itself back on after random amounts of time. i also switched the blue wire to the white/black stripe. thought it was working but then started acting the same. i think the greddy unit is junk. i've heard others with the same story too. i wish i could help but all i can say is verify all your wiring and make sure you test the two ign wires so you know for sure you have it wired up like it says to in the booklet

you guys should just buy the tt harnesses that lightning motorsports sells, it only takes 5 minutes to install plug and play.
