Wasnt the USDM and first type R 4 lug with 114.3 and that rim then in 99-01 they changed to 5 lug.

Yes, this is correct. I like the DC5R wheels, those things look sick as ****.

Older models were 4-lug with a 114.3 lug pattern.

They look like HX's painted white with a emblem to me. but i just woke up so they could be Old Itr's 4x114

They are ... I paid $250 for mine w/o tires. They are off of a JDM 96 ITR.

I believe the HX rims have a different spoke count and look slightly different. I say but I'm kind of picky about what they look good on.

EDIT: Correction, they both have the same number of spokes

Hx are 8 spoke as well, however they have a small lip along the inner angle of the spokes. Sounds like you found a decent price, if they're in good condition.

The VXs look more like the 96 ITR rims but 13s IMO

these ARE the older type r wheels...they may resemble the HX wheels but u can tell by the spokes..type r spokes are thinner than HX
