Default wat you ll do ...

hi,

Maybe i m goin to buy a 96 accord EX with 102 000 KM (around 68 000 miles), i would like to know if it will be better to set up a turbo (cause the engine is not too old) or drop a H22 insisde this baby....

Please could answer and explain why you ll choose the turbo way or the N/A way

thx

i would turbo it so you didnt have to go through all the swap details and 68k is hardly anything.. that motor has a lot of life left in it

but an h22 would be sweet too

boosting myne. all together gonna cost bout $600 at the hyigh end. but i have a H22 laying around, just waiting to go in the car, after i pop this one. but it is more cost effective to boost it yourself.
H22. bout $1500. do some hunting
Motor Mount conversion. bout $300
ECU change over. bout $300
and there is prolly lot more crap that is gonna pop-up when this swap ends up going in. besides, having way to much fun with this low budget F22B1.

boost it. Unless you have "connections" I don't believe there is a way to swap h22 for 2500

Your only option at this point is to boost it, and then save for tuning. You wont get a full H22 swap in there with transmission and installation for $2,500.

If you can do your own installation, $2500 is enough to swap an engine. Actually extra.
