Need Help!! Need to rent FWD car for VIR this wkend!
I had a car lined up for VIR this wkend & the guy said he couldnt rent it out this past wkend. UGH! I have called about 6 other people this wkend & the last 2 days. All to no avail so far.
If anyone has any leads on renting a race ready fwd car for the comp school this wkend, I would appreciate it very much if you could send the info my way. I have one option left & it's RWD. I dont wish to rent a RWD car for this wkend as I will have to change my patterns & driving style. You understand this I hope.
My car is in pieces & I have half my engine at my house... so my car is definitely out of the question & I would like to participate this wkend.
I thank you for any help you can give me.

Rosen Autosport has at least one, maybe two, ITS Sentra SE-R's that *might* still be available. 804.421.9222, ask for Joe.
Hope that helps,

Worst case scenario (also cheapest) is to get a plain-jane rental car.
There was a rental Volvo S70 (auto, but I'm pretty sure they're all auto) at Summit Point's Jefferson Circuit. Better than having nothing to drive at all. If I were in your situation I'd probably car jack one of my parent's vehicle. No, wait, that wouldn't be good...

I don't know if his plans are finalized but http://www.downingracing.com might be a source. Matt Downing mentioned on the IT.com board that he might be renting out is SSC/ITS Civic EX. I don't even actually know where he is located, only that he has run @ VIR in the past.
Good luck!

Contact the DC Region SCCA club office ( http://www.wdcr-scca.org ). I believe they still maintain a current list of rental racecars available in the area.
Still hope that helps,
