(2001 model) The lock doesn't go up or down with the power control and the alarm remote but it works manually. Does anyone know what's wrong? Or what I could check?

perhaps the door lock actuator found in the driver side door is acting up...i would first suggest checking out the door which has the bad lock, and then from there, if thats not the problem in that door, check the door lock actuator, chances are it might have gone bad. This same thing happened to my mom, i bought a used one from ebay and threw it in there and its worked fine ever since.
