d15b motor into 92 VX civic
Hey guys...my buddie is having a few problems with a swap and I'm trying to help him out.
First of all he drives a 92 VX civic hatch and he just dropped in the JDM d15b motor.
now here are a few problems
-with most of the sensors unpluged on the motor...the car still runs the same as it would with the map/TPS sensors hooked up.
-the car tops out around 3500-5500 rpm
This is what i've heard from him and I heard the motor run today and it's not as it should be.
Any suggestions on doing this swap? does he need an Si wiring harness that comes from the inside dash area? or just the engine bay harness?
thanks
bart
