they fit as long as you have a 5 speed hub

wow.

crx hf's have 5 speeds, and you need the knuckles off a dx/si to make it work. basicaly you need dx/lx/si knuckles with the hubs for it to work. if you have ex ones, good for you, you have really rare knuckles with bigger brakes, too.

with these axles, the joint is slightly bigger, so you have to pull off the metal dust ring on the inside of each hub so that it doesn't rub.

watch out for what center shaft you have. I can't find the resource right now but this is how it goes I believe:

90-91 jdm b16a teg, S1 and J1 tranny intermidiate shaft use 90-91 teg axles.

SiR jdm B16a intermidiate shaft (slightly longer than teg), PASS side use 90-91 teg, Drive side use 88-89 teg with 90-91 inner CV.

just get both 90-91 axles. if the drivers side is too long, your hub wont go back on the lower arm, go and get a 88-89 axle and hybrid the two you got for the D-side.

and you need to remove the metal shield on the hub/wheel bearing. (see pic)

someone please conferm or correct...

Thats correct, EXCEPT, you can just use the 86-89 axle on the drivers side without any modifying. It will fit perfectly with the longer (y1) intermediate shaft. Hub rings must be removed as usual.

This is the same application on a B16a EF with an s1 tranny, 90-91 passenger side axle from a teg and 86-89 drivier side teg. I'm swapping out my axles and i've forgotten which ones i needed.

When given a choice, yes. But a lot of people get the "y1" intermediate shaft with their swaps. In that case the 86-89 teg axle is a good substitute for the drivers side.

LOL I have done a ton of b-series swaps and always used the teg axles, with a y1 s1 j1 ys1 ect.
