i have a 4cyl 01 auto. im finally making the big steps i have just about finished buying all the parets for my turbo setup but i need to do a tranny swap. i have searched the posts and my questions is can i use a tranny and all parts from a 1998 prelude or does it have to be the same year. and has anybody found any sites that sell a complete conversion kit. i remember in december on ebay there was one. thnks in advance

Look in some local junk yards and look on websites online, even call around to some shops around you if they have import related stuff. You never know, you may find a great deal on tranny from a 6th gen that was in a wreck or something of that nature.

you need a ton more than just a tranny, don't forget all the shaft, axle, etc

you not gonna run that 5speed with a damn auto ecu

h22, h23, f22, f23 tranny can be bolted on, as far as i know(hell, they even get those f22 tranny to bolt up to civic block with adapter plate)

don't get the prelude tranny, it's short-geared(well, somewhat but yes) compare to accord tranny, you gonna HATE yourself if you putting on a turbo, think of this, before you hit full boost, tranny is forcing to upshift, all you have is alot of spooling and little bit of boost

thanks i have called several places looking for all the components. damn cant wait for my turbo and tranny setup to be done its giving me a hard on just thinking about it. lol has anybody found any badass rebuild kits for the f23. while i have the tranny off i should rebuild the engine to performance. i kinda wanna stay with the f23. they way it looks this tranny setup will cost about 2 gs cuz ima order a good clutch and flywheel. i'll have about 3300 to work on engine and suspension
