THIS IS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS I HAVE THATS ON MY D16A6 THAT JUST ON A MOTOR STAND. JUST GIVE ME YOUR OPION THANKS!!!
OBX 12:1 FMU
1ST GEN DSM INJECTORS 450cc
WALBRO FUEL PUMP
JG 4040 CAMSHAFT
SKUNK2 CAM GEAR
PORT & POLISH D16A6 HEAD WITH 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB
AND MATCHING THROTTLE-BODY
DUAL VALVE SPRING
ZC RODS WITH "98 D16Y8 PISTONS
PM7 ECU CHIPPED W/ 3 SEPERATE EPROMs
ZC TRANNY
NIPPON MLS HEAD GASKET
CENTERFORCE STAGE-1 CLUTCH
FIDANZA Flywheel
OBX PULLEYS (NO AC NOR PS)
HF UPPER HEADER W/ MACHINE MATCH RBH5 TURBO/HF ADAPTOR
RBH5 TURBO "PORT & POLISH, REBUILT"
AND FINALLY MY AUTOMATED RADIATOR
FOR BOTH MY ENGINE OIL AND COOLANT
TOOK A YEAR, BUT I'M ALMOST DONE.
THANKS,
thanks guys, will get rid of the FMU.
as for the ecu a friend of mine wrote 3 seperate bin files. i'm not limiting myself to 1 eprom, just incase one of the three was writin better then the two. all three eproms are socket on a seperate bread board (machine copper pcb boards w/ dip switches)

1. Thats great and all, but why are you using an FMU when you have an ecu thats chipped?
2. I am not sure why you put Y8 pistons into an A6 block. It increases the compression ratio, which is bad for tuning and it increases the chances of detonation a lot.
Thats it, I love the head work though!

I could be wrong but aren't the y8 pistons more dished then the a6 pistons, which actually means lower compression?

1) Throw that FMU in the garbage can!
2) Get a real maniflold
3) If your spending the money on headwork, why limit yourself with stock bottom end components?
4) How the hell do you chip an ECU with 3 diffrent EPROMS???
5) Put a turbo on the setup that will be able to keep up with the motor, ie. T3 or T3/T4 hybrid (if spool is a concern, know that I just tuned a CRX with a 14B that didn't make full boost until 4000rpm with a similar setup, and I make full boost at the same RPM using a 60 trim T3 with an extremely shitty .84 exhaust side, not to mention way more power).
If your interested I have internals and a turbo kit for sale...
