Default C555 UNDER DASH WIRE CLIP HELP!!!

I have one clip not connected to my under dash fuse box. I checked in my HELM's and it is numbered C555. I look through the whole book and I can't find anything about these unconnected clips i have. I think this clip is causing my whole gauge cluster not to work..

Please help. I'd appreciate any info.

I gave my 96-00 Civic Helms ETM a quick once-over and didn't see C555.

What car is this?

You need to post more info.
From what I can guess, C555 in the 92-00 civic and 98-00 teg is for the power windows. But it could also do other things that I'm not seeing with a glance through the pages.

If you explain your problem and post what year and model the car is we can give you more info.

Ok I appologize for being unclear.

The car is a 1992 Honda Civic VX (that's what the sticker in the back says).

I bought it as a shell and built it up, but the dash and engine wiring were still there luckily.

When I look in my HELM's on page 23-29 the spot on the fuse box which is missing a wiring clip is numbered C555 and it says it connects to C923 (Under dash fuse box)..
How can it connect to itself?

By looking at a diagram and guessing those clips look like C301 and C302.. and it says those connect to the ENGINE COMPARTMENT WIRING HARNESS.. but if those weren't connected the engine would not run right???

I wish HELM'S had a page for each clip and tell each color.

Does anyone live in the LAS VEGAS/HENDERSON/SUMMERLIN NV area? i really need this fixed and i can pay for your time.

I happen to have a '92 VX myself. I know for sure there there isn't any plugs in the C555 or C556 locations in the rear of my fuse box.

do you have the ETM? that's really want you need to do this kind of wiring. It covers everything in more detail.

your problem is that the gauge cluster is not working? or doesn't have power?

I've got a for a 95 Civic....I'd 'think' they'd be the same as far as this is concerned. If you want to give a description of the connector, such as # of pins and perhaps a few wire colors/pin #'s, I'll take a look through.

But yeah...Helms ETM is where its at for this type of stuff.

Ok then I guess C555 is one less thing to worry about..

What is ETM???

Hopefully I can find somewhere to plug in those two clips..

My gauge cluster lights up and the turn signals work but NOTHING ELSE works..

I was looking at the back of my gauge cluster and I noticed that there is a small piece of metal missing from the connector board, on one of the lines, like a little copper piece. i don't see how that would cause the whole gauge cluster not to work...

one missing trace could cause everything to not work.

if you can take a pic of the trace that's missing I can tell you what it does based on my cluster.

ETM - Electrical Troubleshooting Manual. The Service Manual is good for fixing things not figuring out how it's wired.
