you dont adjust it to make it louder, you adjust it to ensure it is opening and closing at the proper times.

Wait so the screw is not a volume control? I thought it had settings for bass, treble, balance, and a mini equalizer...

I hope I didn't waste my money on some stupid BOV that only vents air!

It was a joke, grow a sense of humor. Did you ever stop to think that perhaps you are the one that ruins boards like this by jumping to conclusions?

Wow, you won't last long. It really was a stupid question, you should have expected stupid answers to go along with it.

dustin: Did you take the filter off or something? I could see f*ck spelled out. I can't believe you didn't reduce the newbie's percentage more than that.

hahahahahahahahahaha you guys are so funny, it seems to me that all of you are just the smartest people on the earth.
it kills me to look at some of the answers you peaple give, but i guess that it what i get for asking"a stupid question" and it seems i am getting "stupid answers"
it was a serious question and i would have liked a serious answer, and as for being a "newbie" i have been watching this board for almost 8 months now and it just keeps on getting worse and worse. just because you dont throw down alot of post or alot of replys it is said that you must be a newbie and you dont know ****.

well i hate to tell you guys but i do know alot about building high performance engines, i work at PTG and i build high performance racing BMW engines all day long.
so as for not knowing anything because i am a newbie, well it looks like you are all wrong.
WHAT A JOKE

If you knew what you were doing, you would not have asked this.

But go ahead and try to convince us otherwise.

yeah theres no need to go off on dustin he was just trying to be funny. And John did give you a correct response. So i dont see why you have to be "***" . We all share our knowledge with everyone. I am not saying you are stupid or anything. This board is accepting alot of new members that left other boards that didnt know as much. It been getting very out of control at times. That is why we get frustrated. The regular users keep answering the same damn posts over and over... its get old. That is why i gave it up for while but i am back to give my assitance the best way i know how.

For your question the sound is not related really to how you turn you bov. It actually related to what BOV you have. You can turn clock wise if you feel your BOV fluttering and if its too stiff and not opening turn couterclock wise.
