The part I want made would be $255 from mymachineshop.com

I have it all cad'ed out in their program and just need it cut out of aluminum.

ANyone got access to a machine that could do it ?

Waterjet/Mill/maybe even an electronic plasma cutter..

i have a buddy with a 4-axis. might be able to get it done

 

Why don't you give a bit of detail as to the part you need. If something can be water jet cut or laser cut then there is no way someone can really compete with a cnc mill. Most every part that is milled will need to be fixtured to allow the mill to cut the part. Basically gravity is the fixture in laser and water jet cutting

KFMRC is right, if it can be plasma, laser, or waterjet cut then there is no need for a mill so a description would help.

And we do waterjet cutting.

 

AP, what company are you with? I only ask because we had a few things made by someone locally with a WJ when ours was down. to a fellow Atlien machinist

Is this just a plain ole 2d image being cut from flat stock? I have a buddy who does all of my work for basically free. Only charges materials. If it is something small I could forward you on to him
