like the title says..what makes the car STOP priming the fuel system?

my car used to prime for a few seconds, then it(the main relay) would click, the CEL would go off, and if i listed to the fuel lines under the hood, fuel would no longer be flowing.

now, after the click and CEL turnoff, the fuel-priming sound is still there.
what is goin on?

 

lol mine was doin taht along with the car itself not turning off turns out i had 2 wires crossed at my ecu...

 

the car turns on, runs, turns off, etc. im getting a code 43 after driving around a bit. also, alot of bogging. but i was having that issue earlier (before this fuel priming stuff...)

what tells the fuel pump to stop pumping, or whatever happens? whats going on there?

 

its all the main relay you might want to replace that...

 

the main relay sends a signal to the fuel pump to STOP priming?

if it does, how does it know when to do it?

my main relay worked fine before (resoldered all the connections cause some were cracked) . and it starts up nice and quick...hmm

 

bump...tryin not to blow up pmy car or anything...

 

check for fuel leaks. leak = no pressure able to build = pump runs all the time?

 

fuel main relay on driver side of dash is problem...is it hot where you live?
