replacing d series headgasket
ive searched for about a month reading up on this, i had seen a link for replacing it, but for a b i think. the pics wont load up on my computer tho. nonetheless, i am gonna fix it myself cuz i have nothing to lose. it is a crappy d15b7 motor and i need it to run so i can drive my OWN car.
so im gonna need:
headgasket(duh)
various other gaskets, intake manifold, etc.
copper spray
torque wrench
various sockets(10,12,19,etc)
possible machine shop work
anything else i might need? if possible, does someone have the link to the writeup, with the pics? i believe the orig. author was "jdmlyfestyle".
Also, in the helms it states you have to reduce fuel pressure in the fuel line, but in the writeup it states to put the end of the fuel line in a bag so fuel wont spill. Is this good, cuz how can i relieve the fuel pressure?
Lastly, it seems as if the helms has alot more steps than the writeup...
can i skip a few steps the helms tells ya?

I believe all you have to do is open the gas cap for a few seconds to relieve the pressure. That's all i have ever done...
