Default STR 70mm TB, TPS adjustment

I have two STR TB's, one was on my car working well, the other was sold to a fellow h-t'er. The guy I sold the other one to couldn't get TPS voltage right, so I went down and looked. With TPS moved all the way, voltage is 1.2 closed throttle, I backed off the adjustment screw and luckily pulled a 1.0v, then at WOT, voltage jumps to 5.98. 1.0V closed, 5.98 WOT. My solution to this problem was to take the throttle body out of his car and take the one off mine so that I don't get a bad rep for selling crap parts. On my car, I made the throttle cable so loose that it doesn't open all the way at WOT and pulls the right voltage.

Question is, is there any other adjustment on the TB to set voltage right? Has this happened to anyone else? Do you think STR will warranty this **** since I bought both from e-bay?

Edit: It runs fine the way it is now, but during quick shifts, the throttle cable falls of because it is too loose.
