Default itr valve train

Hi, I have searched, and im looking for a little more info, i am going to be redoing my motor, it is a stock gsr right know. I am going to be putting itr valve train and either ctr or jdm itr pistons, and im thinking about using the new skunk 2 pro1 cams, but this is where im having the problem, im not to sure if the valve-train will hold, and im looking to see if anyone has suggestions on other cams like ctr's or maybe skunk2 stage 1, Thanks in advance for any and all info.

ITR valvetrin is not even good enough for ITR cams in perf. applications. Just my opinion based on what what I have seen.

and also if i were to go with your set up what cams/valve-train would you personally recommend, and would ctr pistons be over kill if i were going to be using a b16 head, with the gsr block and a stock head gasket

Depending on what you are looking for, throw in a CTR intake cam for really good bang for the buck or go with the M22's (and get good IM header, exhaust etc) to extend to power potential to 9.2k.

i have apexi n1 exhaust with a 2.5 in high flow catco cat, and when i redo the build im going to go with the AN-R header, and do you think the ctr pistons are good with the b16 head, and gsr bottem end or are they just to drastic, and again thanks for you time and great info

you should go with rockets cam/valvetrain set up. from what everyone on this board says, theyre not only the best, but also the best bang for the buck.

the ITR valvetrain will handle Skunk2-1's (not sure about the the pro's), and CTRs no problem. I wouldn't push too far past 8500 RPMs though just to be safe.

I just got a few more things to add, 1 what does the m22 kit come with, and 2 if it does not come with valves will my itr valves be fine or will i have to upgrade those as well.

Cam package consist of

- Cams

- Ret
- Spark Plugs
- Chip I write for your motor

I like Supertech valves if you are going to replace your valves.

yeah def, i belive with the research that im doing before i go a buy stuff will pay off on my build, and it will prove to be a strong and powerfull motor. im not lookin for a 10sec car or even 12sec car for that matter, but im lookin for a well running machine that can hold its own, and put down around 200whp, i dont think its a hard fet.
