Default Omni Coilover Comfort level

Roads are really rough out there... I need to adjust my coilover as comfortable as possible does anyone have ideas how to make that happen on a Street version of Omni Power coilover?

Importance...

Comfort > Handling and Performance.

I have the Omni sport version and I hate it for daily driving on S.cali roads...I loosened the preload but its still rough.....you just have to deal with the roughness with these coilovers unless you want to sell them....

Friend of mine with the sports on his R says he doesn't like them either. Supposedly too bouncy.

If you want more adjustability but still want to keep a fairly low price, look into KSport. JLB Motorsports (site sponsor) is a distributor for them and gets their first big shipment this week. The set for my wrx is in there so I can't wait to get them on

Omni's are essentially non adjustable in terms of ride quality. You can just set the preload correctly, and that's about it.

Maybe you really want a stock suspension. Actually maybe you want a Caddilac?

*** > Comfort

omnis arent bouncy, they are stiff. if comfort > handling, then you shoulve never got omni street or sport. if you want performance and can bare with a slightly rough ride, then omnis are great. if you didnt want a stiff/rough ride, shoudlve gotten Skunk2's+shocks.

when i first got my omni street coilovers, it felt extremely stiff. since they are only height adjustable, you gotta play with the other things to help it feel softer.

preload, ride height, and *tire pressure*. tire pressure is key, especially when it comes to making your ride feel bouncy/not bouncy. i lowered my tire pressure some on all 4 tires. slightly lower pressure in front///higher pressure in rear. it got a little bit smoother.

try adjusting tire pressure.
