Way to tell for sure, S2 stage 3 cams
Bought them from a local shop last year and never put them in until now. While assembling my head and checking clearances I decided to meaure the lift at the valve and came up with .472" then I measured at the cam and got .312".
This sounds more along the lines of the stage 2 cams, is there any other way to tell? There are some light engravings on the end, I'll have to check them when I get home. It was something like S8 on one and S10 on the other.

No one has any input on this? I also checked the clearance on the stock older B16 LMA's, there was still another .020" of trvel in it at max lift and the contact point on the bottom of the rocker arm still over hung the top pad of the LMA by a bit. Even fully compressed it wasn't even close to coming off the edge of it or even half way for that matter.
I'm surprised, back on page 3 already and not even a "do a search" or a "me too"
I'll give Skunk a call about the cams, but what I need to know is if the main problem people have with the stock LMAs is them bottoming out and the rocker sliding off the end of it. Is that the only thing to look for??
