Default itr sway bar with bsq kit - to comptech rear sway bar

i sold my 22 mm itr sway bar along with the bsq kit that with it. now im looking into purchasing the comptech tie/sway bar combo. my question is since i had to enlarge some holes for the bsq kit will i have any problem/concerns to worry about when installing the comptech piece? i looked over the comptech instructions and there are no holes that needed to be enlarged.

thanks

You removed some nuts and enlarged some holes that the Comptech kit needs to mount to. You should still be able to rig it up fine but you'll need some added hardware. For example: for the upper mounting hole you'll probably need to buy some big washers to make a solid mount for the nut in there because the Comptech bolt is smaller than the hole you drilled for the bsq kit. If you just put a nut w/o a washer on there, it will easily rip through.

Why are you switching it anyways? Ultra paranoid? You would have been fine. I know there's this thread floating around about a guy with an EK civic that had a tearout. There still hasn't been a case posted on an Integra with kit tearing out. Supposedly the civics are weaker.

piece of mind, added protection. the endlinks with the itr + bsq kit was also not in a 90 degree angle like its suppose to be. when i took the sway bar off, i also noticed that it was rubbing against the abs lines.
