axle pulling out from boot problem
I have a 88 crx hf with a si tranny, exerything was fine
I put in 91 crx si spindles with breaks to upgrade, and put 2 new si axles
drove it 10 miles and the passenger axle pulled apart from the tranny side
the tripod cam out of the housing (the bearings). I took it out and put it back together , put it in and drove it back home. but boost still looks a little stretched.
why is the passenger side axle look like its being stretched?

Had the same problem with a brand new (remanufactured, anyway) axle from AutoZone on my '91 Accord. Took it back, they took one look, and said "that's a bad axle" and handed me a replacement. Gotta love lifetime warranty.
Could be you just got a bad axle. At any rate, if it's separating that easy, I wouldn't want to drive on it!
