Default .:: Interior Related Question - Re: Ronin Seats ::.

First off - all the knock-off haters, who hate on Rota, or any other knock-off company, keep all comments to yourself. I appeal to those who are knowledgeable upon this seat manufacturer, or honest, non-hater opinions.

Reason why I'm asking, is because I'm looking to upgrade my interior, but do not want to buy a used set of seats, or pay over $1000 CAD for a set of authentic Recaro seats.

Manufacturer: Ronin
Seat: Knock-off Recaro
Colours: Red, Black, Blue, Black w/ red stitching

Images:

Does anybody have these seats, or know anything about them? In terms of quality of padding, material, etc. How long do you guys/girls think they will hold up?

Also, the seats cost $350 CAD /pair. I'm looking into getting the red pair, and for the price, I'm getting somewhat serious about it.

Opinions/comments please. No hating though.

my buddy has them in his 99 coupe....and I must say that they're nice seats. I'm not a fan of knock-offs but damn...they're comfortable.

Compaired to the ITR Recaro's: The bolsters are a little more bulky on the ronins, the fabric is decent, and they're a little stiffer.

The only thing I'd say bad other than being a knock-off is that I could see them wearing quickly, other than that..... great buy for the price.

....hope that helps?!

Compared to a 'authentic' Recaro SRD:

They look just about the same if you ask me.

I'm going to the shop sometime this week after work, to check them out.

Thanks for the help.

In terms of wear. How long has he had them, and how much have the worn already?

the only difference is those seats are wide as ****, you barely be touching the passenger seat is say prob like 3 or 4 inches away....i had similar ones sold em in a week and put my stock Si seats back in, dont waste your money either save up to get the real ones or jus spend your money on something else

i saw those at the car show in calgary and imo i don't think the bolsters will hold up very well over time. i think the biggest difference between the manufacturers is the quality of materials and durability

I'm not a big guy. Average heigh and weight, and I drive in the middle of the seat. No stunna-driving poses.
