Default thermal catback on hatch

i got a b16 in my hatch with all the bolt ons..also has full supertech valvetrain with sk2s2 cams...i currently have a dc 4-2-1 to stock cat and si catback...now my catback is way too restrictive and it is causing my motor to choke...1.75 in. piping...im looking into getting the thermal r&d system because it has been highly recommended by many people..im lookin at the cl system and i will be running it with no cat...what do u b16/ef guys think??

Thermal makes good systems, Depending on the size. For a b16 you only need a 2 1/4 system, I always like the custom systems cheaper in the long run

Got my Thermal for $200 locally. I was just patient and waited for months. I would just be patient and you'd be surprised what comes up.

My B16 CRX came with a custom 2.25" exhaust, no cat, just straight pipe and a glasspack or resonator of some sort. Surprisingly low rasp, but louder than **** in VTEC. It's a side exit dump right before the passenger side rear tire, which I think is cool as hell since I can scare people walking along the sidewalk with a simple push of the gas.

Anyway Thermal does make very high quality systems, but custom is cheaper and possibly just as nice. Check out http://www.kteller.com I think they have custom tubing kits.
