Also, I was reading some searches about Soild ECU lights, and alot of them said that a soild ECU light means its ok. but they also said you have to jump wires to get the ECU to flash the code.
Its a pr3 ecu. OBD0. so there are no wires to jump right? its in a CRX also BTW.

my ecu that lost injector pulse had a solid red CEL. in the helms it does say thats what it means [bad ecu]
but thats very good advice about the grounds. check them too!

pre obd flashes without anything being jumped. if its not flashing something is very wrong.
when you first give power to an obd0 ecu it will quickly flash once, this is the Power On Self Test [POST]
after that it should flash and give you any codes it has, unless the problem is intermittent, in which case you lose the code., which is why pre obd can be a bitch sometimes.

ahh yah, thats what I thought, Then its probly a bad ECU then. ****. I have a p28 ecu that i would like to use. but that means I gotta convert to obd1. meaning, jumper harness. and Distrubutor.
