I have a 96 civic and I recently replced the water pump thinking that the noise was because the water pump was bad I still have the noise. It is not the alternator or compressor i checked them and they are fine. What else could it be?

 

Don't replace parts without knowing if that's the reason of the problem.

Did you hit anything?
Where is it originating from?
Did you replace anything else?

 

I have not hit anything. It seems to be coming from the engine block not sure. I have replaced the driveaxles, oil and coolant.
