Default color matched headlights on a red civic?

I want to paint my headlights, but i started thinking, eveyone around here has "jdm" like headlights on their headlights.

So i was wondering if it would look good doing the inside red to match the car, or would that be ugly.

I've seen done once on a car in Ft. lauderdale but that was a year ago.

If anyone has a pic of one post or point me the right direction

You mean something like new corvettes and ferraris and such, where the inside is painted like the body?

I don't know, it might look bad, it might look good.

Do it! I wanna see. I think that would be og. I like jdm black housing myself, but then my car is black. I would say go for it and don't worry about what people think on this site. A lot of people on here are haters n e way and afraid to try something new, just copy what everyone else does. You'll know if it looks whack. Post pix when you're done.

I've seen it done once. The owner posted it on JDMCivic.com a long time ago. He had a Red 99-00 Si. IMO it looked nasty.

man its yer car. if ya wanna do it, then do it. if not, no sweat. I wouldn't do it on stock headlights tho cuz it'll look gross. If you has some after market 1 piece headlights with the black housing, that might look good. or, the black huosing headlights with the matching corners. make sure they have the clear lenses and not the stock looking ones.

personally, i think cars should be built from the inside out. make it fast first, then personalize it later. wild kits, neons, etc. and widebody style was kewl b4, now it's all about mild, clean, jdm and being fast of course. just keep that stuff in mind when building yer car.
gud luk man. i hope it comes out nice and post pix when yer done. it may look nice, but just be ready for haters that'll tell you yer stuff looks like ****, unless it really does, then don't post it. common sense.
