Whats the best exhaust for power gains? headers? cams?

I want to have atleast 200 WHP....

You've gotta free up the exhaust path before bothering with the internals. Header/exhaust.

What's with the 2" front drop? What suspension do you have?

Whats the best header/exhaust combination? Im not looking for anything loud either.. my BMW had a loud exhaust and it bugged the **** outta me.. and my wife and kid.. (this car is my daily driver.. and yes theres a baby seat in the back.. LOL )

All depends on what you want to do with your caR. May I suggest a search???

 

You won't hit 200whp with I/H/E. I would recommend an ATS FD.

 

sell it, and put that money with the $1000 and buy a better platform to start with

 

RMF Header, Random Tech 2.5" highflow catalytic converter, kteller 2.5" exhaust piping, hondata IM gasket ...... if you want 200whp your gonna drop more then a grand

its hard saving money havnig a wife and a kid .. back when i was single i used to have 10-15gs in my closet for disposal wherever, whenever.. now im just broke all the time :\

But okay, im pboably just gonna go with a E/H to go along with my Intake.. recommendations are welcome.

I'm aiming for DRAG performance.. which mind you I ran 14.2 last week w/just an AEM intake at the dragstrip. = ) !!!! beat a rsx-s w/hondata #4 reflash and bunch of other mods.. (he ran 14.4) pretty close! but he had ALOT of mods.

be a reponsible dad and save it for your kids college funds, seeing that your mod list says you have a graco baby seat in the back for your sun and vtec makes babies cry shows your not to responsible, who would drive wild with their baby in the car? not me, maybe you should put money into the looks of your car instead of speed for now

 

trust me, im more than responsible.

Im 21 years old btw and take care of my wife/kid while workn full time and payin the bills.... my lil'boy doesnt like VTEC.. too loud and scary for him.. thats 1st gear pulls/runs not topping out every gear and maxing out my car i dont drive fast with them..

I put $200 bucks/month in my savings account thats goes towards my sons college *which dosent cost more than 8g's here in Canada )+ a tight *** car for him when he turns 16 *so he can bone all the shallow hotties!* 16yr term is = $38,400 w/no interest...i gotta find a bank and make interest on my m00la... in 16 yrs... the $1000 i have for my "blowing on my car" is just excess cash for myself )
Looks? I already have the side skirts/rear oem kit... and its lowered.. i can't see how it cuold be better looking then it already is... (i dnot want the jdm conversion.)

but..but...but...what about moooooooooooooogen?? if ur asking for somthing as pricy as hytech/toda headers lol might as well take a glance at mugen as well

Same....but I'd go 4.785 to save some $$ and get an alum. flywheel with it....

The answers to your question all depends on what you want to achieve-

All out race car will steer you in one direction, while a weekend warrior type of vehicle will take you elsewhere-

go all motor....

 

In your situation I would get the OEM JDM header and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust.

If I had $1,000 free I would buy a set of n00b coilovers and pay for Watkins Glen in September

 

Hytech header and exhaust combo....but u'll need more than a grand i think...

 

stock motor + aem + $1000 part &lt; 200 whp

Good for you I'm the same way! 21 and married with a baby on the way. IT is super hard to put money away especially living in socal and paying a mortgage. I say go for the RSR exhaust cause it's quit with good gains, and anyheader you wish. don't for get a good high flow cat.
