I don't know if people are sticklers for searching like the guys on Vortex are, but i did search and wasn't able to draw a conclusion to my question, hence why i'm posting here.

I don't drive a Honda, i drive a mk3 Jetta but i'm looking into Rota GT3's for my next wheel. I'm sold on Rota quality after running slipstreams for over..

I've seen 15" GT3s in real life and they look perfect in that size.. BUT I really want to stick with 16", as my ride height isn't low enough to properly pull off 15" wheels, imo.

So the question... Do 16" GT3's look different than the 15"? Obvioulsy i'm not talking about the 16" having design variations but does the added 1" in size throw off the great looks of the wheel?

thanks man... this forum is very similar to vwvortex but i didn't spend the time looking through diffrernt forums because i know a **** ton of civic guys run these wheels.

I havent seen a 15 inch gt3 in person but I have a 16 in silver pics in my sig. I like the look of the 16 compared to the 2 previous wheels I owned prior to the gt3 which were 15's. (group n & slipstream, pics also in my sig.) I also liked the look of the 15's on my car as well. I didnt think a 15 inch gt3 would look as good due to the size of the center of the wheel w/ the fat lip.

 

if u want 16's go w/ the 16's they look just the same except the tires cost more

 

15 GT3 are pieces of ****

they don't clear 11" brakes

 

you won't even notice the difference.

i have 16's bitch and my friend has 15's and his azenis the orginals cost less than my tires here in san diego i don't know about where u live. but that new pricing is on the new azenis rt-615

but since you have an VW get 16s

Look the samw axcept for an inch bigger on the 16s
16 is better for your jetta

unless like I said,... you have an civic then get 15's

im not sure about the gt3's but the circuit 8's look different in 15" vs. 16". I can always tell instantly if someone's rockin' the 15s or the 16s because of the shape
