anybody running this combo? since I already have teh skunk 2s on the car I was jsut gonna use them instead of ground control.. but if its gonna be a huge differance then I wont.. will the koni yellows made for the ground controls work with the skunks? also where to buy a energy suspension bushing kit for a crx? how do you guys like them? I plan on redoing all the stock stuff..(like ball joints and bushings and wheel bearings and what not)

They will work but you need an adapter ring for the Skunk2's to sit on the Koni perch correctly. Since the one Skunk2 designed isn't correct, you can buy one from Koni that will work.

Heres a conver. I had with a guy on here who works for Koni.

AnToNy: I need to get the adapter ring for Skunk2 coilovers to fit on Koni Yellows. And I heard that the ones Skunk2 offer will not work properly, but Koni has the correct ones. I need to get the part # so I can order these, if you guys truly make the adapter ring. Thanks

CRX Lee: We don't make an adapter ring. What we make is a ring that sits under the rear of a '88-00 Civic rear normal spring perch and some people have put them under Skunk2 and other Brand X coil-overs with some success. You can order them here http://www.koni-na.com/apparel...tinue as the 80 series perch support ring. No guarantees that they will do what you are asking as they were not made for it but a lot of people with the Skunk sleeves use them and this is what Skunk2 unsuccessfully copied when they made their own. The key is the groove on the bottom of this ring sits on and captures the circlip. Lee

i had/have skunk2 coilover sleeves with yellows..the previous owner of the setup put the sleeves on the koni spring perch (the silver cup looking thing) and really fuggered up the circlip rings

i got 4 new sleeves from gc and used the skunk2 springs with no problems
