fuel for 2001 accord
a friend of mine said when she bought her 2001 accord cpe (i think it was a v6), the dealer/salesman told her that her car can only use regualr fuel. is that true or bs? she said since she was told that, she had only filled her tank with regular for all these years.
it's listed on the manual, use base/regular grade is fine, it's a low compression economic-mined car.
just in case you ask, it wouldn't do a thing if you put in 91(or whatever grade you have over in your state) or 100 octanes race gas, it will not run better or faster.
for future reference: if the car needs premium, it will say so in the manual, in the dash and most likely there will be a big label inside the fuel door.
if you put **** water in it, it will put the car in limp mode, which you can pretty much feel it
