All motor H22 compression ratio
My set up for my head is skunk2 springs, retainers, and stage 2 cams. Currently I'm saving up for a port and polish by Dave Hickman http://www.dh-racing.com/(check out the h22 powered CRX street car).
Higher compression helps the cams make larger numbers, but what is the best way to achieve this. My funds are running out, so the more I spend the longer I wait. A thinner head gasket or milled head would be the cheapest and easiest for me. I'm not sure what a safe mill or thinner head gasket would be. I thought about type S pistons, for $700 with rods pistons and rings to get .4 more I don't think it is worth it.
So basically can I get 11.5:1 CR safely with a head gasket or a milled head, or what is the max CR to safely get?

My friend had a ZC head P&P by him, I was really impressed by it. I do see what you are saying though, there is alot of negative feed back on here about him. Do you know any other reputable places that do FULL P&P?
get type-s pistons, and mill the head or get a thin head gasket, don't waste your time with flat valves, the extra weight is not worth the small boost in compression, it takes stronger valvesprings to close them, and it also leads to increased wear on the head...
